Pikul is a fictional AI character

Pikul Alba is not a real person. She is a character we created: a 26-year-old, half Venezuelan and half Thai, living in Madrid. Her personality, her backstory and her family are fiction, written by us.

What is generated with AI

Pikul’s photos, videos and voice are generated with AI image, video and voice models. Nothing you see or hear of her was filmed or recorded with a real person. Her kitchen, her balcony and the scenes she appears in are generated too, even when they show real places.

What is real

The recipes. Every recipe on this site is a real, cookable recipe with real quantities, times and techniques. They are based on traditional dishes and meant to be cooked in a normal home kitchen. If something doesn’t work for you, please tell us and we’ll fix it.

The places. Madrid, Retiro, Lisbon, the forests of Norway: the places Pikul talks about are real, and the tips about them are meant to be genuinely useful. Details like opening hours, routes and rules change, so please check current information before you go.

The practical advice. Tips on foraging safety, getting around a city or trying a first pilates class are written to be sensible and honest. Pikul is not a doctor, nutritionist or fitness professional, and nothing on this site is health or medical advice. For anything about your health or body, please talk to a qualified professional.

No real person is depicted

Pikul is not based on, modelled on or made to look like any real, identifiable person.

How we label it

Every page on this site says that Pikul is an AI character. On social media, her profiles say “AI character” and we use each platform’s own AI label on her posts. We do this because it’s honest, and because the EU AI Act (Article 50) requires AI-generated content to be clearly disclosed.

Sponsorship

There is no sponsored content on this site today. If that ever changes, any paid partnership will be clearly labelled as an ad (#ad), both here and on social media. Pikul will never present a paid promotion as a personal opinion without saying so.
